Luckily, there are numerous of natural products that you can use for your skin to keep it looking its finest. The options are endless! Lets take a look at our favorite choices:
Safe for Pregnant Women
Aloe Vera
(Aloe Barbadensis)
Aloe vera has many components that will keep your skin hydrated soft and supple. Aloe easily absorbs into the skin and is an anti-inflammatory agent. It acts as a natural sun screen, and will keep your skin tone even. It is indeed very therapeutic! It is a must have when faced with hyperpigmentation and stretch marks that occur during pregnancy.
Jojoba oil
(Simmondsia chinenis)
In actuality it is not an oil but a liquid wax. It has excellent benefits for the skin because it is the only natural substance that is the closest to the skin’s natural oil called Sebum. Jojoba oil is amazing for acne which is all too common when pregnant. It is very high in Vitamin E which will also facilitate the healing of acne and increase circulation in the skin which in turn will give you a healthy glow!
Made from Earth's Aloe & Jojoba Creme Therapy contains high concentrations of both aloe vera and jojoba oil. This is why it is the most recommended choice for pregnant mothers. The product is recommended (and safe) for use while pregnant, to avoid stretch marks due to increases in size; as well as recommended after pregnancy to ensure your skin is able to convert back into its natural way.
Rooibos Tea Leaves
This is actually a herb that has been in use for many centuries. Women all around the world have been using this tea to aid in having healthy skin and a healthy pregnancy. Rooibos Tea has hormone balancing properties that will rebalance your hormones and we all know that hormones can be one of the main suspects in acne.
This tea which is excellent among women in their child bearing years will also add many key vitamins and nutrients to your skin. On top of that it will give your baby all the nutrients it needs to grow healthy. It goes without saying that everyone can benefit from Rooibos Tea. Drink up!
Also, remember that what you eat is another thing that you should take into consideration for maintaining healthy skin during your child bearing years. Be sure to add many fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet and drink plenty of fresh water. Water and fresh fruit and veggies will alkalize the body and make your skin radiate. This will also detoxify your whole system. Nuts, Seeds and Legumes are also a great addition.
Water will keep your skin hydrated at its fullest and filter out your Kidneys and Liver. These organs will beautify your skin and not to mention keep you healthy and balanced.

I used this product every morning and night when I was pregnant with my daughter. It has a lovely scent and was very soothing, and it even helped with dry skin on my arms. I highly recommend this and all the Earth products.
I am somewhere between 6 - 7 weeks and a couple days (I can't remember exactly what the ultra-sound tech told me because I was crying that the baby was healthy and normal for a change), and obviously don't have pregnancy stretch marks yet... I was wondering if anyone knew when a good time was to start using lotion and such to help prevent stretch marks when the time comes?
Im 4 months and starting to get some pretty little purple ones on my hips and boobs.I started taking warm baths with baby oil in my water. When Im done in there I use aloe everywhere!!! Only time will tell if it helps :) anything to give my skin some stretchiness lol.
I blamed my genetics for looking like zebra after pregnancy( lost the weight but stretch marks covered whole belly) until a co-worker of mine showed me her belly after 3 kids--no marks! I started using the Aloe & Jojoba 1 month ago and they shrunk and faded significantly, hopefully, this summer I'll have my skin back.
I love jojoba oil! Its excellent for pregnant women. I will give the Aloe & Jojoba lotion a try - I didnt know you could mix it with aloe!
I used raw organic coconut oil on my belly when I was pregnant and it helped a bit.
